UnceasingFaun asked: Using blender to create a 3d object and after effects for motion tracking, how could I combine the two? Is there any way to export 3d objects to After Effects from Blender? Do I need to bring the movie into blender, and if so is there any way of motion tracking? Say, for example, I have a scene of a table and the camera tracks around it. I create a 3d mug in blender. What next if I want to put the mug on the table in the scene?

Nathan asked: I am very serious about making movies and although I have made some good movies using After Effects and all, I’m ready to expand my knowledge and get into animation. I’ve heard of a bunch of 3D Programs such as Milkshape and Autodesk 3D Max. What’s the best stuff available for a budget under $1000?

Super G asked: The usual explanation for our 3d vision is that, having 2 eyes, the crossed result of their slightly different vision creates the 3d effect. However, if I close one eye, I don’t experience any sudden flattening of my vision; nor I think that one-eyed people have problems perceiving depth, do they? So, what’s the REAL mechanism behind 3d vision?

Brendan S asked: I just saw a 3d movie and wondered how it works. I know the theory behind it i just don’t know how the movie theater does it. What does a 3d cinema look like? Do they use two separate projectors to overlap the images?
